We have been priviledged to host this wonderful event for fifteen years. Annually, the members of the AIBBA have opened their historic houses to thousands of visitors, decorated hundreds of trees and put up more lights than we can count. Through this event, the AIBBA has been able to donate thousands of dollars to local charities and community organizations.
The members of the AIBBA wish to say a special thank you to the Chamber of Commerce, TDC and our Tour Coordinators for their devoted support of this event. In addition, we thank the ticket buyers and overnight guests, the Amelia Island Museum of History staff and volunteers, the staff at the Courthouse and Post Office, the church choirs and musicians who entertained us each year, area youth groups, our neighbors and community volunteers, local restaurateurs who provided complimentary food to Christmas Tour guests, and our faithful advertisers whose businesses we're proud to continue to support.
Please note that the island is still a wonderful place to visit in December; the town will still be fully decorated for Christmas, and the shops will still offer those one-of-a-kind gifts that you've come to treasure. The Amelia Island Museum of History will be offering an alternate Christmas Tour the weekend of November 30th. For information, call 904-261-7378. We hope that you can join us during this wonderful season.
